我在 10/10/2010 公佈了這個部落格後（九月尾成立），第二天就接到封來自 Kimberly 的委託郵件～

好開心哦～ 我原本以為沒有人會 email 我的… 更開心的是, 她委託我訂製一隻她的愛犬 English Cocker Spaniel 名叫 Charlie～♥♥

我很喜歡做訂製寵物復刻～尤其是迷你版本的狗狗～ 雖然每次都是個挑戰， 但我還是很享受～

這次的挑戰是長卷毛～ 我上網查了些資料, (我在馬來西亞這裡 沒有羊毛氈達人可詢問）

最後決定身體使用馬里諾羊毛 Marino wool；耳朵及尾巴則使用捲的 Mohair（Mohair～毛海織物是由最好來源 Angora 安哥拉山羊做為的自然纖維，毛皮是非常長和自然呈波浪形的，觸感特別柔軟，一般名字叫做毛海.）

我上兩個星期才收到這些材料，在上個星期終於完成了 Charlie 的迷你復刻版～ ♥♥

我覺得這次的作品還不錯～ 不過我還是不大會戳捲的 Mohair... 還需要多多多多多多多多學習 >.< 
真希望有達人可以教我...

羊毛針戳手工藝是用針去扎出做者本身想要的形狀，它只需要羊毛和一隻戳針，不需有縫紉技巧，只靠一隻專用『戳針』扎多多多多多多多多次之後就可將形狀固定，可隨心所欲的創作～
雖然這個過程有點耗時，需約 12 - 35 小時來完成 （於初學者的我），

但我還是很享受羊毛戳喔～ ^_^

每當完成時我都會很開心～我會把它放在掌上來看個不停，希望它也可以給大家帶來歡樂喔～ :D

after i officially announced this blog on 10/10/2010 (i created on end of Sept), 

i received my 1st commission email from Kimberly the next day~ ^_^

i was so happy ^o^ coz i thought no one will email me.. and the best thing is she requested a needle felted wool dog for her sweet English Cocker Spaniel named Charlie～ ♥♥

i love to do commissions especially to create miniature versions of customers dogs!  but meanwhile i a bit worried also coz i never done long curl haired dog before.. 

since i don't have any sifu here in Malaysia to ask for~ so i did some research online and finally i decided to do it with Marino wool for the body and curls Mohair for the ear & tail.（Mohair usually refers to a silk-like fabric or yarn made from the hair of the Angora goat. Mohair fiber is approximately 25-45 microns in diameter. It is one of the oldest textile fibers in use. It is both durable and resilient.）

i received those material on last 2 weeks and finally done little lovely replica Charlie last week～ ♥♥

i pretty happy with the result but i just didn’t know how to go about putting on the curl mohair…
still a long long road for me.. >.<  

for your information Needle felting uses a special barbed needle tool to create the form so there is no sewing, stuffing or pattern of any kind. It really is a sculpture in wool. This process is extremely time-consuming, and each sculpture normally takes 12 - 35 hours to create. ( for me -> beginner )

but i really enjoy doing it~ ^_^

i get so much joy to create a little replica animal that will snuggle in the palm of my hand and they joy that they bring to others～ :D
